Council of Catholic Women

This groups carries the voice for American Catholic women today, who believe in transforming the world through prayer and action, support social action through Gospel values and trains Catholic women to speak and act on matters of mutual interest at the intersection of Church and society.
The next Council of Catholic Women monthly meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 3, 2020. We will begin with a Benediction service at 7:00p, followed by our usual gathering in Kinsella Hall. As a change of pace, we have decided to have a “paint party” at this meeting. The cost, if you wish to participate, is $20. There will be two Valentine themed choices and you will be able to take your painting home! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Camille Matthis. The CCW’s famous Valentine's Day bake sale is fast approaching, February 15th and 16th to be exact. We are also accepting baked donations on this same weekend. Thank you for your support.

Each year, the Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women awards a four-year, $1,000 renewable scholarship to a young woman graduating from high school and continuing her education at a college or university. This year’s deadline for submission is March 20. Click here to view the flyer in Parish Bulletin News, and visit accw-scholarship for the application and guidelines

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Training in the specifics of the ministry is provided throughout the year. Extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion are assigned on a rotating schedule.

Ministry of Care

Our Ministers of Care bring Holy Communion to those individuals who are not able to attend weekly Mass. If you or someone you know is unable to attend Mass and would like to receive Holy Communion at home, hospital, assisted living, nursing or rehabilitation center, please call the parish office.

Music Ministry

The Music Ministry provides music for all of our weekend liturgies as well as Holy Days, Weddings, Funerals and other special occasions. The music ministry at Our Lady of the Snows currently includes three choirs (English, Spanish and Resurrection Choirs), and multi-lingual cantors and instrumentalists.

Polish Ministry

As a new ministry in development in our parish, Polish Ministry involves catering the spiritual needs of our Polish speaking parishioners.   Many of these parishioners are actively involved in our community in different areas, such as social concerns and works of charity.

Youth Ministry

This group is open to all High School teens. Edward Lox and Javier Frausto from Our Lady of the Snows were awarded certificates in Community Life for outstanding service, dedication and faithfulness to Jesus Christ by Bishop Gustovo at the Vicariate 5 Youth Leadership Banquet.
